Job description:

  • Assisting clients in implementation and administration of their structures in Mauritius;
  • Set-up of various structures ranging from GBC, Authorized Companies, Trusts, IBC and Foundations;
  • Taking care of the day-to-day corporate administration and operations of the portfolio and following up with third parties, including banks, authorities and clients;
  • Initiate dissolution process for entities as and when required;
  • Perform required level of due diligence review and ensure proper CDD are on file;
  • Processing payment instructions both manually and on internet banking;
  • Assist in preparation of resolutions;
  • Ensuring the portfolio complies with statutory requirements, licensing conditions and Company procedures; and
  • Ensure compliance with internal systems, procedures and processes.


  • Holder of a university degree preferably in Business Management or any other equivalent qualifications;
  • Relevant experience of 1-2 years;
  • Good knowledge of regulators governing the global business sector;
  • Fluent in English and French;
  • Team spirit and the capacity and willingness to build strong client relationships; and
  • Positive attitude.

AAMIL (Mauritius) Ltd is looking for one experienced Accounts Officer, having a background knowledge in Accounting and Tax. Applications are invited from candidates, having a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience and ACCA level 1 Certificate or partly level 2. Degree holders in accounting may also apply.


  • Ensure accurate calculation and payment of statutory returns (CSG, PAYE, TDS, CTX, CPS, VAT, APS).
  • Provide accurate monthly/quarterly and yearly financial reporting in line with policies and procedures (IFRS, IAS and Companies Act).
  • Preparation of annual account of Company and group (amalgamation and consolidated account).
  • Prepare tax computations for GBCs, resident Trusts, Domestic Companies, Resident Foundations and Authorized Companies.
  • Application for tax residence certificate for individual clients.
  • Attend to all queries raised by local Authorities (MRA, FSC and ROC).
  • Prepare monthly payroll accurately for clients.
  • Ability to meet and advise clients on tax and accounting queries internally.
  • Attend teleconferences with clients.
  • Assist in the audit process of all entities both subsidiaries and Group.
  • Manage and assist with the filing of financial statements.
  • Attend and submit IMF, ESSNAC and CPIS surveys to FSC.
  • Ability to assess a Company’s solvency before dividend payment.
  • Other cognate duties as assigned by your Team Leaders.

The Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Experience in Sage (Pastel) would be advantageous.
  • Experience in global business sector will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge in corporate matters.
  • Meticulous and able to work flexibly in a dynamic environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude and able to interact/ work across functions.
  • Possesses sound knowledge of IAS and IFRS.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet constant deadlines.
  • Ability to work odd hours as and when required.
  • Up to date with local tax laws.
  • Problem solving and analytical mind.
  • Attention to details.
